 Exceptional Quality Massive Killing  9.25” Allosaurus Hand Claw  ( 6.5 Inch Circumference at Base)

 

Species : Allosaurus fragilis

Species description : Largest Therapod Meat Eating Jurassic dinosaur ever-often reaching 35 feet long, as long as a bus. Its Large Skull per body size makes it special but a Hand Claw is even more inspiring. The skull with a moveable joint allowed it to bite huge chunks to devour its prey .

It did hunt in groups and was the greatest hunter in dinosaur world at least at this time frame that had speed, teamwork, and claws that were much better than TREX . It had a S-shaped bulldog neck with powerful 3 claws -sometimes a vestigual one also that could tear any dinosaur wide open. The teeth could rejuvenate but these claws could not. It weighed 2 tons also. The middle hand digit was killing claw with most 7-8 inches  . This one is over an inch longer .

Item Location: Como Bluff or Bone Cabin Quarry, Wyoming ?   This was an old collection piece of a top collector who passed, but we know these 2 areas are only ones known with dark reddish brown color -all others dark black

Item Description: 1-10 rating  10  Top Quality Approx. 95% Original 9.5 “ Monster  Hand Killing  Claw  .  This is middle digit killing claw that is a so rare I’ve only seen a few  in a lifetime and nothing this size. Quality on this claw is exceptional. Only a few small  spots appear to be filled in towards end but really can’t see any on this. It was purchased with another one from same Allosaurus  from an old collection. It did not need any prep when received due to high quality. To be able to get one this great besides the huge nature borderlines on impossible . It’s a chance of a lifetime. You can see the great lines of the bone and long all natural  grooves. The color is so appealing  as brown with a reddish tint . The price is so low for this quality claw  its one Id gladly keep  . I doubt if it is listed long as others.   Others sold within days and weeks,  and this has same quality-all high. One like this easily now goes for 27-30,000,  but Id sell this for less  . IT comes with excellent metal steel stand for display and showing your friends  You will never find a better one . The tip and most of rest all original. Last 2 pictures due to lighting makes it lighter as is but shows detail
