Species description:  Bipedal herbivore or primitive iguanodont  found by the vicious Deinonychus (terrible claw) raptor –deadliest raptor of all time – that lived 115 Million years ago in  present day Montana. This rare animal was able to eat tree leaves, low shrubs  weeds of all kinds and was the favorite prey of the most fearsome predator raptor of all the dinosaurs ever .This is a large one  Most tails 6 ft long It weighs over a ton

Item rating and description : 1-10    9.6  Wow what can I say on this one. A complete tail of one of rarest dinosaurs in history. This is one for the books, and my first and only. These are hadrosaur- like animals but 40 Million years before hadrosaurs and before Rex. This tail with 33 verts  is 102” long or 8.5 ft.  This is an outstanding quality piece magnificently displayed with occipital condyles, centrums, and processes with all bone and repair especially on processes. Quality is amazing and prepped  well with 31 verts with 5 of them articulated with 4-  2 each and 1- 3 articulated . This is so rare I only had one small caudal vert before and sold it for $700. This has 33 complete verts with centrums, processes, and caudal canals . To even find one of these is so amazing let alone a whole tail plus others.  Unbelievably RARE Tenontosaurus material is iguanodonts which preceeded Hadrosaurs but similar. This was an adult animal fairly large with a 8 ft tail. Most only have 5-6 ft so this one is huge . This is from an early dinosaur, and was an underground find totally so mostly dark brown and just great.

 

You will not find this anywhere.  Deinonychus, which preyed on this dino, which is highly desired as one of most feared raptors of all time so this is a find. What is so amazing this piece while broken is totally natural with little restore a number of processes reglued  on breaks but natural  as they are fragile.  You will never see another of these so for people who want rare it’s time to act now. It is complete with virtually no wear either like it was frozen in time for 115 million years. So for one of rarest dinosaurs this piece is so underpriced for what you get.  It  is marked in order from 1 thru the  end . I would mail them in a number of boxes in pellets so safe to mail. This is way underpriced as it I sold each vert its 700 dollars so times 33 is $21,500, which it is worth actually more as together it compounds the value a lot up to 30,000. Try to find a rare dinosaur tail  for this. These are 10 years  ago prices.  Now could be a lot more.

THis needs to go on pallet for safe delivery. Its heavy each vert and also it will take 4-5 boxes or plastic containers to ship .I estimate pallet runs most places in US $1500 but low price makes this overall attractive.
