Species:  Carcharodon megalodon(shark)

Species description: This shark was the largest in history reaching up to 70 “ long with up to 7 inch teeth which means every inch of a tooth was 10 ft of length. It was also the second largest marine predator  that ever lived .It lived about 28 Million-1.5MYA.until Pleistocene  epoch. It ranged over large areas of the ocean. IT looked similar to a great white shark but larger-much larger.

TimeFrame :  Miocene-Pliocene

Item Location: OFF CAPE FEAR , North Carolina

Item rating 1-12 and description: Rating 16- This is a Remarkable MEGA-SHARK JAW with an Amazing 138 Large  Megalodon  Teeth lined with 3 rows of 24 teeth per row on the top , and 22 teeth per row on the bottom . The jaw is fabricated in fiberglass resins, following the same shape of the modern Great White Carcharodon carcharias. What an amazing piece  as all teeth in front are  approx 5” Long and all the others average 4” which means if you add up the total cost of the teeth it is well over the cost of the entire jaw . The jaw is actually 5.5’ tall and 6.5 ‘ wide. Remember each inch of tooth is 10 ft of this shark so this shark was about 50 Ft long.   This jaw was done by a dear friend who works with top authorities in the field of shark research to oversee many of these projects, and this one took many, many months to complete. Remember also the teeth are all that is left of this creature as the jaws were cartilage and that is never found as its organic. IT takes years to find these top premium teeth also and much diving and hard work to retrieve. This shark is close to today’s Great white but size was extremely different with Jaws looking like a minnow to these creatures.  This was a 50 ft eating machine and anyone who buys this can use this for an awesome display to bring crowds for miles around.
Personal notes on owner: Pat McCarthy is a dear friend who has been in involved in the study of fossil teeth and collection for 25 years. He personally dives to find only the best teeth for his creations, and scuba diving is not easy to obtain these. He goes through many teeth and many dives o get the right ones and much time to place them in the correct position plus make the jaw to do his magic. He was recently featured on the Discovery Channel’s “ Shark Week “  on a segment named Prehistoric Sharks . Megalodon reconstructions by Pat are currently on display at museums, aquaria, and natural history establishments over the entire world . This is a chance for you to own a part of History for a great price. On a personal note Pat is a fine man who strives for perfection in all his projects . The amount of time dedicated to this is so substantial not to mention the effort in order to make this masterpiece .More pictures are available .Type Pat Megalodon  in google and get info you need .

AMAZING BEST EVER EARLY MIOCENE 6.3-6.5” Long  x 4.75 “ Wide CARCHARDON  MEGALADON TOOTH From A Shark Larger than 65 FT  long –yes larger than a Ranch Home

Species:  Carchardon megaladon(shark)

Species description: This shark was the largest in history reaching up to 70 “ long with up to 7 inch teeth which means every inch of a tooth was 10 ft of length. It lived about 28 Million-1.5MYA.until Pleistocene  epoch. It ranged over large areas of the ocean. IT looked similar to a great white shark but larger-much larger.

TimeFrame :  Early Megalodon - Miocene 20 MYA

Item Location: CHILE

Item rating 1-12 and description: Rating 16   Best EVER PERFECT  EARLY MEGALADON SHARK 6.3-6.5” MEGALADON  TOOTH  .  This tooth was to a shark larger than 65 Ft Long or 10 ft per inch . This is just so amazing you’ll never see a better one anywhere as my policy of trying to get only the best. Well I did .Why the difference in size? If you measure at end of lower ridge at the top its 6.3 “, however if you take it to the top ridge of furthest point of the tooth its 6.5” Long or apex of the triangle shape . Keep in mind the largest tooth ever found was 7” and only 6 exist in the World  anywhere , and it would sell for $35,000 but no one who has one would ever sell . What also amazing most Megaladon  teeth are Pleistocene or much later than this one. This is an early Megaladon Shark . Not only that but it’s an amazing  4.75 “ Wide with all Serrations which is unheard of . The Serrations are pristine . I really could care less if I sold this- it’s that good .There are no imperfections in my opinion even though I’m not a shark expert but I can see quality . Any way here are the pictures and you will be amazed .IM selling way below retail on this as its worth 8,000 at least as one only an half inch smaller than the biggest tooth and those are not 4.75 inches wide. I expect this to be sold so fast while your thinking about it it’s gone.
